Since the onset of COVID-19, Connecticut's food insecurity rate has risen from 13.4% to 22.8%, and the uncertainty of what will happen in the future lingers in the minds of families that struggle to put food on the table. In Fairfield and Westchester Counties, we will provide 3,600 children with the nutrition that their young minds and bodies need.
We are at the end of 2020, and FITB has already distributed 394,180 meals weighing in at an astounding 1,970,900 pounds of food!
