Filling in the Blanks 7th Annual Golf Outing

On September 29, 2020, Filling in the Blanks (‘FITB”) will host its Seventh Annual Golf Outing at the prestigious GlenArbor Golf Course. The outing is our premier fundraising event and your participation will allow us to continue to reach the goal of fighting childhood hunger in local communities.

In Fairfield County, more than 34,000 children are not sure where their next meal will come from. Most will get breakfast and lunch from school during the weekday but many will go without a decent meal over the weekends when these school provided initiatives are not available. Founded in 2013, FITB has created a program to fill those weekend meal gaps, to ensure children receive the proper nutrition they need on the weekends to lead healthy and productive lives.

Over the course of 7 years FITB expanded from feeding 50 children at one school to feeding 2,400 children at 38 schools throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties, distributing over 170,000 weekend meal bags to fill hungry bellies. None of this would be possible without the generosity of supporters, such as yourself.
