Filling in the Blanks Announces Partnership with Datto’s Charity Committee and LatinX Employee Resou

[Norwalk, CT October, 15, 2020] — Filling in the Blanks (FITB), a non-profit dedicated to fighting childhood hunger by providing children in need with meals on the weekends, today announced their ongoing partnership with Datto, the leading global provider of cloud-based software and technology solutions purpose-built for delivery by managed service providers (MSPs), following the donation of 400 backpacks to the holiday backpack program. FITB currently serves more than 3,200 children in Fairfield (CT) and Westchester (NY) counties. Each year, every child in the program receives a special holiday backpack filled with a variety of items, made possible by donations received through the FITB holiday backpack program.

“We are extremely thankful for Datto’s generous donation toward the holiday backpack program,” said Jenny Volanakis, co-chair, Filling in the Blanks Holiday Backpack Committee. “During these challenging times, we are so grateful to our community partners for continuing to support our efforts to fight childhood hunger.”

"As part of Datto’s newly established Employee Resource Groups (ERG), designed to expand our diversity and inclusion efforts globally, each ERG has been allocated funds to be used for charitable giving in 2020,” said Kathryn Powers, Chair of the Datto Charity Committee and long time volunteer with FITB. “The Charity Committee and LatinX ERG are thrilled to be able to support FITB, such an important organization right in our backyard.”

Please consider donating new backpacks to Filling in the Blanks at FillingintheBlanks.org.
