It pays to volunteer!

Many employers use their corporate giving programs to encourage community volunteering, and yours could be one of them. These programs may be knows as “matching time,” “service credit,” “dollars for doers” or something similar. They provide financial donations or grants to nonprofit organizations—like Filling in the Blanks—based on the number of volunteer hours reported by the employee.
