Filling in the Blanks Ninth Annual Golf Outing

On May 10, 2022, Filling in the Blanks will hold its Ninth Annual Golf Outing. The event, held at the prestigious GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford NY, is our marquee fundraising event and your participation will enable us to continue fighting childhood hunger in our local communities.

Hunger is not only an issue in faraway places, but it's also happening right in your neighborhood. Food insecurity increased sharply during the pandemic, and families with children were hit the hardest. Many children are experiencing food insecurity for the first time, and we are proud to remain a resource they can rely on. There is still a lot of work to be done in CT and NY, and we need your help to make sure that no child goes hungry.

Filling in the Blanks is an organization that fills in those weekend gaps by providing each child in its program with a bag filled with healthy food for the weekend. When the obstacle of food insecurity is removed, children experience increased academic achievement in school and increase opportunities for success in their lives.

Founded in 2013 by two Fairfield County residents, Filling in the Blanks is a 501c3 non-profit organization that has grown from serving 50 kids to serving more than 3,800 kids in Fairfield and Westchester counties.
