My advice is to simply be enthusiastic about the cause you are raising money for, and Filling in the Blanks makes that really easy.

Steps for success
1. Set up your fundraising page
Create a free custom fundraising page with Qgiv (or use Meta’s tools to fundraise via Instagram and Facebook). Use your page to share the details of your fundraiser, and most importantly, to let others know why you support Filling in the Blanks and think they should too! It’s helpful to add images or anecdotes that speak to your personal experience with us or the issue of food insecurity.
2. Set a goal & let people know what it is
It’s hard to be motivated without a clear goal. Set a fundraising target that feels realistic, yet challenging, and communicate this goal to friends and family.
3. Highlight important milestones & express gratitude
Keep your supporters updated on your progress, and most importantly, acknowledge gifts with a personal thank you, social media shout-out, or even an old-fashioned phone call. Let everyone know how much you (and we) appreciate their support.
